Keeper of the Kohn On March 27, 2007, WNY Lacrosse for kids was honored to have award winning film maker David Gaynes and the lacrosse icon Peter Kohn to Western New York to share Peters incredible life story. This truly human and touching documentary shares the importance of relationships and expresses the true meaning of friendship. Being a part of our great game, lacrosse, is being a part of something bigger than yourself and this documentary proves this. Peter Kohn is loved by all and is a living lacrosse icon of good-will.
Blindmen and Criers Golf Tournament
The first annual Blindmen and Criers golf tournament was for the WNY Officials (blindmen) & Coaches (winers) to bury the hatchet from the prior season. The first tournament was successfully held on July 16, 2007 at Holland Hills Golf Course. This was a great opportunity for our local officials and coaches to come together and help benefit the WNY Lacrosse for Kids fund.
